We had a XenOdin gathering for sg side people and we decided to have a bbq as the gathering. Basically went shopping and did the marination the day before. But since the few of us were the one planning it, we had to go eariler. Me, Valer, Thor, RIverwind and XiaoYao pick up all the food and took a cab down to east coast. Thankfully we managed to find a cab driver who allowed 5 of us to take the cab since by right it is not allowed anymore. Anyway when we reached there was walking to the pit when it starting raining. By the time we reach our pit we were a little soaked. And when the rain subsided me,Thor,Valer and Riverwind decided to go buy the ice since we need to keep the meat stuff cool. We were walking halfway there when it started raining again. We took shelter again and waited for the rain to stop. Din expect 7 eleven to be so far away. By the time we actually got the ice packs, we took shelter for a insane number of times. Crazy weather it was xD Met eternity,arclord,yexi and his friends at Mc D and we headed back to the BBQ pit. The entire trip just to get the ice took more than 1 hour XDAfter a while, the guy called and ask us to pick up the satay at Mcdonald -_-" So me and thor took bikes and went back to Mcdonalds. Halfway there my bike brake got jammed and I was flung off the bike, the lucky thing was I landed on my feet. Dun ask me how I did it but I did XD Anyway the bike wheel was totally jammed and I had to forcilbly pushed it along all the way to Mcdonals to pick up the satay and come back again. We also bought some batteries for the radio. When we are back, found out the batteries were of the whole size -_-" So we went all the way back to exchange them. This time we walked, did not trust bikes anymore XD Anyway by the time we got back with the batteries the fire was already started and we started sampling the food. Just those those bacon wrapped asparagus and those kebab, taste excellent! Pretty soon more and more people came and we started having a pretty good time until the rain camed again. We covered the pits and took all the food up and ran for shelter. While waiting for the rain to stop we decided to celebrate Arclord birthday. So we had cake while waiting for the rain to stop. Was also chatting with Tessie, been quie a long time since I was talk to her and yea it was good to see her again. Once the rain stopped, we continue with the BBQ. And yet once again when we were bbqing half way, it rain again -_-" Did the same thing as before. Anyway we continue the bbq until everyone was too stuffed to eat. Than I tried making melted chocolate for the desert. Everything was fine until I decided to add some water to it, than it become a food fiasco. Well at least now I know not to add water next time =P After that we just chatted around and took 1 group photo together before me,jesse,tessie and hairi shared a can back home. Would have stayed longer but than wouldnt have anyone to share a cab with home XDWould like to say sorrie to those who did not fully enjoyed the gathering, must say we chose a rather wrong date for the bbq since it was raining mostly for the whole day. Anyhow hope you guys find the food ok. Guess we shall have another outing before school reopen for you guys to make up for this one. Promise this time will be better XD And lastly must say sowie to jesse since I forgot to bring home the apple juice she bought for me T_T SOB!
