On 8th of Feb, I was put out of training for chest infection. Life as an oot was in fact very much enjoyable at first. I just help out cleaning the company and platoon's offices. Clean up the area around the company. On most days, I have enough time to sit down relax and read a little newspaper. When I was put OOT, Sgt Paul became in charge of me, he brought me around to help out with the store for the upcoming field camp. Sgt paul was nice to me and he treated me fairly. Alas, he had to go for 9 weeks training for 1 days before our field camp.

On 11th Feb, our field camp started. There was many stores to settle and when we reach the campsite, we had to set up the tentage. Than we had to unload everything. Had to make a few trips back and forth to bring everything to the campsite. Anyway, during the field camp, in charge of me was the 2 storeman, Sgt Kamal and Shaheen. Felt really outcasted, because I would always have to follow them around and do things. And they would always talk in malay and keep on joking around, and I dun understand a single shit they are saying. But that is still ok, there is more. Most of the time, the storeman Sha'ri would ask me to do things faster, say I do things like girl like that. While he does nothing but watch me does it. And because sometimes I dunno how to do certain things, after all I am not a storeman ma. He would scold "Chi Bai la, not like this" or "You know, you are a farking chi bai" All the way, I have been going through a mental torture, doing all this shit things alone without anyone for support. I really wished I could join the field camp instead of helping out with the store. Whenever I had a bit of free time I would try to join my platoon mates for a while just to talk to them, but I would end up getting scolded. Even though I subtained 2 injuries in my shin and finger, I still continue to do shit of them. But despite what I been doing, the storeman and sgt shaheen was not appreciative at all, sgt shaheen still say I been doing nothing and NS dun pay me 350 dollars to be like this. The storeman would just jurl vulgarities at me whenever I do something wrong. Things unloading the empty jerry cans and moving them around was really physical demanding. And I have also become the rubbish man, all the shit and stuff I had to throw by myself. I would not mind doing all this things if they would be appreciative and not just scold if I do anything slowlys. AFTER ALL I WAS PUT OOT DUE TO CHEST INFECTION, I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON LIGHT DUTIES FOR 2 WEEKS. On certain days, I would just break down and cry, the mental torture was just too much for me to bear. Being the only OOT I have no one to turn to, I cant get to be with my platoon, every scolding I get just dropped my morale even more. Must thank a few people for consoling me and giving me strength to carry on. The sgt major, sgt goh, sgt she, sgt halin has really been a great help to me.

I was so happy when I found out I was posted out to a unit of the mainland. Finally I dun have to return to Tekong for the time being. All in all, I would like to thank all the officers and sgt who have been taking care of me for the past 1 and a half months. Although I would miss my session, platoon mates and the sgts but I just wanted to get the hell out of there... Take care guys, pop is just 2 weeks away...
