Morning went to tampinies to gather first before we were dispatched to the stadium. They showed us 2 videos of us, one of the NE show and the other was our last thursday training. Overall I though both were pretty good, but I wasn't quite happy with the mediacorps footage. Since for the finale we were putting up the tower and the camera only took the top view since they took both the fireworks and overall stadium view. Hence we sort of did the tower for nothing, only those people sitting near the front could see the towers we put up. I was kinda hoping for some kind of close up since the tower took us months to train.

Anyway, went over to SIS to gather around 4pm where we had our dinner and did some light training. And when it was time, we went into the stadium and give it our all. I thought overall we did pretty well, except for a few people who on the wrong lighting and the timing was a little off, I think it was a pretty good performance.

And for the first time, I reach home early after a saturday performance. Since there was no training after that and the crowd cleared really fast, so we were allowed to go off. Reached home around 10pm and with a goodie bag waiting for me. I gave my preview tixs to my parents to watch so they got the goodie bag for me. Actually there wasn't really much things in the bag except for some food and drinks and some lighting stuff. But I thought the bag design was not bad XD

Been quite some time since my last update, since I was rather busy lately with NDP trainings, dance class and not to mention late dismissal from camp. Anyway, getting more confident about the land rovers and learning more and more about changing the different components everyday. And also getting used to life at Jurong Camp. Guess all we needed was some time to adjust and now I think I don’t mind staying at this Camp till I ORD. Besides the fact that the cookhouse food sucks, everything else is pretty much ok. Ended up eating more during the morning tea break so I won’t have to eat much of the horrible lunch =P However on certain days the food isn’t really that bad.

One more thing that has changed is the taxi fare, increase by quite a lot. Since we took taxi home almost everyday, we were hit rather badly by this inflation. So now we are trying as much as possible to take the bus to Jurong point and than take the mrt back home. Although we will reach home later than usual but at least we get to save some money.

NDP training is also becoming so much more fun since at this point in time, can really see the final picture now. And also just this Saturday, we managed to put all 4 layers of our central tower. 20-10-5-3 Although it is still shaky but we managed to get it up, with a little more practice I believe we could put up all the 5 layers. But with only less than 2 weeks to the actual NDP, we are really hard pressed for time. Also during this training, we were finally issued the NDP tix. I was rather happy since I thought the 4 family day tix given to us were the only tix we would be getting this year. However, my tix were the preview ones, only those people who had 100% attendance for every training were given the actual day tix. I miss a couple of training when I had my eye infection back in June. Oh well, at least it is better than nothing. I really like the design of this year tickets. As you can see below =D Anyway hope things will get a little less busy after the NDP and have my weekend back again. Although not sure if I will feel empty if there are no more trainings to go to. =X

Today's NE show went much better than expected. This time I was sure to identify the person in front of me from the next group. So I could ensure when forming up, I would be in the correct row and have no problem finding my marker.

Seriously I think we put up a fantastic show today. As far as I could see from the giant tv whenever I had the chance, I saw that our light display was really beautiful and I could make out the formation we are trying to show. Only thing our central tower only put up 3 layers today and it was rather shaky. But I believe by the actual ndp parade, we could put up a great show for everyone.

Wish I could see the whole footage of what we done today. Really had fun and enjoyed myself a lot even though I was a little tired. Great work guys, keep on striving to do our very best!

Been quite a while since I last updated this blog. Well, been really busy lately. Been spending free time after camp rushing for dance lessons, ndp rehearsals and also my own enjoyment.

Anyway, spend quite a huge sum of money during the last few weeks. Been eating too much good food lately, cost me a bomb. But than again, after the kind of shit food the camp been feeding us, my stomach deserve something much better at least. Also recently just bought myself a light-blue nds lite. Compared to the old ds, I find that this is so much sleeker and cooler. Gonna take good good care of my console this time ^^ Also bought 2 games to go with it, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Super Monkey Ball. Cost me $40 each. Btw, I bought my nds lite as a package, 285 inclusive of 1 game, so I chose Megaman Battle Network 5. Anyway, currently out of all the nds games realeased. Planning to get only 3 more at the moment. New Super Mario Bros,Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal and Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei. Hopefully someone decided to sell these games second hand so that my wallet wont be empty for the whole month.

Back to what happen today. Today we had a combine rehearsal for ndp which was also consider a pre-preview. Stadium was packed with audience and I really wanted to put up a fanstatic show. But due to some problem with the forming up, our shield formation was farked up. Could see a couple of people sharing 1 marker, action should start but people still looking for markers. Than when go to wheel formation, the fan supposed to have 5 people doing, but ended up my fan had 7 people. There are much more things but I dun feel like talking about it again. The whole thing was just a big fiasco in my opinion. Was really discouraged by our performance. After months of hard training and precious time we put in, this is the kind of sub-standard work we produced. Really dunno what to say... Hopefully we can pull through all these and put one a good show by the acutal ndp...

After booking out today, went to meet up with Thor they all. At first I still thought got a lot of people going, ended up those comfirm one become only dao, thor, alvin and me. So we basically walked around the model shop at suntec and than went for dinner.

Alvin was late so we chose the place, tonny ramas. Got to queue up for seats and alvin joined us just before we got our seats. I ordered a steak and fish combo with corn and coslaws at the side. And ended it off with a apple crisp dessert. The food tasted not really good but the portion was sorta of small. But I must say that the corn was really sweet and juicy.

As we were eating halfway, Yoshi and her bf join us and we ate and chat at the same time. We continued even though all the food was gone and left after a while.

Anyway, even though this is just a simple outing but I really feel that it was really good to sit around with people whom I have not really been in contact with much lately like this. Hope for more outing and hopefully this time more people will come and not cancel out just because of hearing that yoshi is not going... lolx!
