Still need some time adjusting to life at tuas naval base. Things we are doing is completely different from base since we are just maintaining our own vehicles. Somehow time seem to pass faster in base since we are always so overwhelmed with jobs to do. Like I said, gonna need to get used to the new type of environment here. But I must say that the food here is MUCH MUCH BETTER than at Jurong Camp. And the people here at LTB is very friendly. Not a bad place to be until I ord =PAnyway if you noticed, I changed my background music to theme of prontera from ragnarok online. However this version comes with singing and I rather liked it a lot. Hope to play back ragnarok online and have fun with my old friends once again. =P

Really disapointed with the Singapore idol results... I was really really hoping they would get rid Joakim Gomez. He cant sing AT ALL, seriously I heard much better singing from a 12 year old. Nurul on the other hard, I thought she was pretty good and has potential to go furthur. Anyhow during this week I was kinda supporting Jasmine and Paul and I voted for the both of them. They better GET RID of Joakim soon otherwise I really see no point of watching singapore idol anymore. *pif*Started a new life at tuas naval base. Still many things to get used to, such as the people there, the way around. Did not seem as bad as Jurong Camp and hopefully we will get used to the life there. However, today they decided to take 2 of us from the 5 sent there to be posted to changi naval base. Seriously, none of us wanted to go since most of us stayed in Jurong area. Its completely at the other end of singapore, imagine what time we have to get up everyday if we were sent there. Felt kinda bad when Wei lun and Wen Wei volunteer for it since they haf no transport or anything and will be stuck there until they ORD. Whereas for me, I will be taking my driving test in sept and in I pass, I could drive there so it would not be too bad. And anyway, some time from now till I ORD I have to go back to Tekong for another 2 months for BMT, so if I was sent there, I would not really be stuck there till I ord. Just hope that they could keep the 5 of us together at Tuas but it is quite unlikely... we will just have to see how the situation is on monday...

I really hate when a chapter in our life comes to an end and another one unfolds. Our OJE started on 22th June where we were dispatched from OETI to Jurong Camp. There we faced a completely different environment and we had a hard time in the first 2 weeks there. As times go on, we got used to life in Jurong Camp, the OJE from different platoons gelled together and became close friends. The perm staff there treated us as part of the Jurong Camp family. I was realli starting to enjoyed working there. And yet in a blink of an eye, our 2 months of OJE has drawn to a close. Yesterday, we said goodbye to a place that was quite like our 2nd home. I will surly miss the people that I met there, the wonderful officers and Sgts there. Warrant Nara, Warrant Wee, Warrant Tan and 2nd LT VONG! who took care of our needs and welfare. Sgts in section 2 who taught us so much more than what we were taught in OETI. Sgt Pek, Watson, Haikal, Jackson who made our OJE life in section 2 so fun.And 1 month later I was attached to section 3, at first I was quite intimidated since it was a mostly muslims section. But the people there made us feel so much at home. Always treating us to food and snacks and treating us as part of the section even though we were just attached there. Would like to thank Staff Fazuli, Yamani, Faizai, Zul, Kairi, Kenny, Alipz, Saba for giving me such a wonderful OJE exprience in section 3.Besides the people, I also miss the wonderful food in the cateen. My favourite "twenty" dollar meal and also the "special" dessert that cost $1.50. Also macik 70 cents drinks and delicious curry puffs. Of course food isn't everything, those 6 little puppies whom we played with during our break time. Cant forget cute little Arrow who is my favourite, always enjoyed playing with my shoe laces. Anyway, as from now onwards, I am no longer part of Jurong Camp and times such as those at West Coast, lake side and the time we stayed in shall all become my precious memories. Take care everyone in Jurong Camp and if fate should have it, we shall meet again. Today we went back to OETI to get our postings. Felt really good to see our old platoon mates again. Had a lot of fun catching up on what doing on in the other camps. After we did some survey and got our postings (i'm posted to tuas naval base), a couple of us decided to go out together. There was Jing Ze, Man Yiu, Joe, Xiang Yong, Wen Wei, Kian Boon, Joshua and me. We went to eat a great tim sum buffet near Funan centre. I was realli bursting when I was done and to think it just cost me $12.50. Really well worth the money, realli like those little Xiao Long Pao =PAfter that we walk around plaza sing for a while before Jing Ze, Wen Wei, Joshua and me met up with Timonty to play lan at paradise centre. Really had a lot of fun and before you know it, it was already time to go. Beside a few of them who will be with me at tuas, chances are I wont be seeing many of them any time soon. Thus this marks the end of yet another chapter and another shall unfold as we start our new life at Tuas Naval Base tml...

Went to E-games to play woe with Thor, Riverwind, Hate, DengDeng, Chiobu, Novice . First time seeing Novice in person sia despite knowing him for so long. He seems to be rather shy, like a completely different person in game. lolx. Anyway, after taking such a long break from ro, everything seem so new and strange to me. Even the controls seem a lil wierd to me. But it was good to see old friends again and chat with them once more. I really like RO's gameplay, but too bad the server was totally destroyed by bots. Enjoyed playing woe once again and in fact it made me feel like continuing to play ro again. But I shall wait and see how first... Btw, I realli like the new class soul linker, they skills and everything just seem so cool. I will make 1 if I can find the chance... lolx...After woe, we met up with uncle and mushroom to eat the "famous" 6.80 buffet which cause many of our guys to haf food poisoning the next day. The food wasn't too bad and was realli well worth the money. By the time we finished eating it was close to midnight and we took a cab back. I share 1 with novice since he was staying the west area too. Really enjoyed today's woe session and guild outing. Hoping for more to come and also hope to see more of our old gang coming for these outing too... lolx... ^^

Though national day is supposed to be a public holiday but I cant get any time off at all. 11am left the house for Tampines to gather for the pre-NDP briefing. Basically nothing much, just some last minute instructions and a morale boosting session. Than around 2pm the bus came and brough us all to the Singapore indoor stadium. Once we reached there we change into our costume and went to do our hair. They made my hair so stiff by spraying tonne of hair spray into it -_-" Anyway after that, we went outside the indoor stadium for our dinner and last min adjustment to our props. And just before we set off to the national stadium, we did some light training.I was pretty nervous as we waited for our turn outside the stadium since this was the final performance and I would also kinda worried that I would messed up my role as one of the group key counters. Anyway the time came and we entered the stadium and formed up at the track during the MP's performance. Once they cleared off the field and our music started, we ran straight ahead full of energy and force. The atmosphere was really good, you can hear the crowd really shouting and can see orange light from the torch given in the goodie bags, as well as flashes from the cameras. It was sure a wonderful sight, I just gave everything I got for the peformance, but I was so nervous that at certain point I forgotten to count and my groupmates reminded me of my role and I started counting again XD Things went pretty smoothly I guess and before you knew it, it was time for our exit. In case you still wondering, I am actually from the Singapore Soka Association and I am one of the 1200 performers involved in the mass display. You know, the one with the lights formations =P For our finale, we actually did human towers of 3 to 4 layers high and I was rather disappointed that the camera did not captured that since we really put in a lot of effort into it. But overall, it was still good =DAnyway we came back during the grand finale and I was really getting into the mood. Singing the national day songs and waving the ballooon around. And when the fireworks display went off, I took out my cam and video the whole thing down, guess no one will notice anyway since everyone will be too busy looking at the fireworks anyway. Managed to get myself a very nice video.Soon after, the parade draw to a close and the post parade party starting. Everyone was still very high, singing and dancing all over the stadium. I was messing around with my friends and they wanted to take some photos with the other performers as well. We did take some photos and 1 interesting thing that happen was. My friends spotted 3 girls and wanted to take a photo with them. Turn out that one of them is Lydia, my classmate. Din see her for quite a while. Used to study very often with her and a couple of others on many evenings while mugging for the A levels. Anyway it was great to see her once again and I chatted with her for a while before we left. After that, we just gathered back at the national stadium for our debrief and collected our belongings before heading home. This national day is really very memorable for me. I made many good friends from all walks of life and I enjoy the time we spend together as a group. I had loads of fun and brought back with me many good memories. This marks the end of another chapter and I will surly the times spent training. Times really files, where we started training in april at kranji camp and now we at already finished our performance. I would like to thank the trainers who dedicated so much time into training us and of course EVERYONE who made this performance a huge sucess. I uploaded some photos which really bring back sweet memories to me below... ^^ Dun mind the background music... I am still into the NDP mood =POutside the indoor stadium just before we haf our dinner...
