I really hate when a chapter in our life comes to an end and another one unfolds. Our OJE started on 22th June where we were dispatched from OETI to Jurong Camp. There we faced a completely different environment and we had a hard time in the first 2 weeks there. As times go on, we got used to life in Jurong Camp, the OJE from different platoons gelled together and became close friends. The perm staff there treated us as part of the Jurong Camp family. I was realli starting to enjoyed working there. And yet in a blink of an eye, our 2 months of OJE has drawn to a close. Yesterday, we said goodbye to a place that was quite like our 2nd home. I will surly miss the people that I met there, the wonderful officers and Sgts there. Warrant Nara, Warrant Wee, Warrant Tan and 2nd LT VONG! who took care of our needs and welfare. Sgts in section 2 who taught us so much more than what we were taught in OETI. Sgt Pek, Watson, Haikal, Jackson who made our OJE life in section 2 so fun.And 1 month later I was attached to section 3, at first I was quite intimidated since it was a mostly muslims section. But the people there made us feel so much at home. Always treating us to food and snacks and treating us as part of the section even though we were just attached there. Would like to thank Staff Fazuli, Yamani, Faizai, Zul, Kairi, Kenny, Alipz, Saba for giving me such a wonderful OJE exprience in section 3.Besides the people, I also miss the wonderful food in the cateen. My favourite "twenty" dollar meal and also the "special" dessert that cost $1.50. Also macik 70 cents drinks and delicious curry puffs. Of course food isn't everything, those 6 little puppies whom we played with during our break time. Cant forget cute little Arrow who is my favourite, always enjoyed playing with my shoe laces. Anyway, as from now onwards, I am no longer part of Jurong Camp and times such as those at West Coast, lake side and the time we stayed in shall all become my precious memories. Take care everyone in Jurong Camp and if fate should have it, we shall meet again. Today we went back to OETI to get our postings. Felt really good to see our old platoon mates again. Had a lot of fun catching up on what doing on in the other camps. After we did some survey and got our postings (i'm posted to tuas naval base), a couple of us decided to go out together. There was Jing Ze, Man Yiu, Joe, Xiang Yong, Wen Wei, Kian Boon, Joshua and me. We went to eat a great tim sum buffet near Funan centre. I was realli bursting when I was done and to think it just cost me $12.50. Really well worth the money, realli like those little Xiao Long Pao =PAfter that we walk around plaza sing for a while before Jing Ze, Wen Wei, Joshua and me met up with Timonty to play lan at paradise centre. Really had a lot of fun and before you know it, it was already time to go. Beside a few of them who will be with me at tuas, chances are I wont be seeing many of them any time soon. Thus this marks the end of yet another chapter and another shall unfold as we start our new life at Tuas Naval Base tml...
