This week basically we had a few major things. First was our 16km route march. We combine with Viper Coy and march together. After the 4km stop point, it started to rain heavily. And the rain did not let up throughout the whole march.

We basically continued another 8km in the rain, until we reach a training shed where we stop for dinner. Along the way there, we encoutered many puddles, and on the slopes, it was like a mini waterfall. My whole uniform was soaking wet and my boots got heaviler with each step due to the water that was trapped inside.

After dinner we continue the last 4km and our morale was really high and it lasted all the way back to company line. And when we found packets of steaming hot roti john waiting for us back in our bunk, only 1 word can desribe it. Heavenly =P

PS: My boots did not dry out completely till 4 days later XD

Another thing we had was the grenade range. Each of us was given a real grenade to throw and the feeling was really shiok. I threw my over to the other bay target by mistake and it was really funny. Even Sgt Faizai and Lta Syed was laughing as well XD And well other people thrown a blind, the demolition team when in with a C4 and detonate the grenade. The shockwave from the blast was really great and it was really loud. Sure was a fun day.

And the last thing we had was our live shooting. Dunno was it due to my own self, my own assistant or a faulty target board. Everytime I shoot the target board did not go down to indicate that I hit it. Anyway it was rather fun shooting so many rounds in 1 day. And after the day shoot, we also had a night shoot which we had to wait for the sun to set first before we could conduct it. Each of our night shoot mag had a tracer round in it and when fired off, you could literally see the shot flying out from your gun to target. It was really cool. And sometimes when the shot hit the butt at the back of the target, you could see red colour sand flying up. Cool, really cool. Anyway when we reach back to company line it was very late. And by the time we had our night snack and wash up, it was alreay almost 1am.

Anyway, thats another week down and just 1 week left to POP!
