Finally POP LO! Cant believe after serving almost 1 year of NS than get to POP XD Before our POP, the last major thing we did was the 24 click route march. Dunno what the CO was thinking, we woke up at 4am just so that we will do our warm up and set off before 6am. Everything went fine all till the 12 click point. A had a bad blister on my right heel and it didn't help that the road was really rocky as well. Worst part is when we were doing the 16 to 20 click. We did that stretch around noon time and the sun was simply scorching. Practically collaspe on the spot at the 20 click rest point. Thankfully we rest there for an hour to have lunch. But I was already feeling very drained at that point and during the last 4 click, all I care about was to put 1 foot in front of the next. Anyway the feeling of reaching back to coy line was good and the cold shower was simply heavenly XD And the night before POP, basically we just sat around eating all our cache of food and chatting with each other. I also went over to the other section to chat with Jonah. But after some time I was so exhausted that I slept on his bed =P Sorrie about that, last night you din get to sleep in your own bed. Haha. Than the next day was POP LO! Everyone was in a super good mood that day, and finally time for the parade to come. After the parade we hang around and took photos with each other. We had to wait a few hours for our turn to take the ferry. Although I wanted to leave tekong very much, I am sure going to miss my good friends during these 9 weeks of BMT. That night, went to westmall with jesse and hairi to watch open season. After that went over to Jesse's place to have supper. At that time, Ray joined us. We just chat around and chill out since its been quite some time since we seen each other. Went home rather late that night, must have been 2 plus am. Not sure what caused it, but when I woke up, I was very feverish. 38.5 degrees to be exact. To makes matters worse, had flu and a very bad case of cough. Fever keep going up and down the whole day and din feel like doing anything at all. Fever only managed to break yesterday, yupz that right. I had fever for 4 full days. What a great start to my blog leave. Anyway still coughing badly now, hopefully can recover soon. And will be free during this week while waiting for my posting to come out. Hopefully I can get a 9 to 5 one. *crosses fingers and prays*
