We bought cards for the launch party of the burning crusade which was held on 16th of Jan at Sun Tec City. This was what the cards look like...

Me, Jesse and Valer decided to camp out the night before for the wow burning crusade launch party since we wanted to be in the top 300 in the queue to qualify for the lucky draw since we heard that the prizes were not bad. Imagine our shock when we reach the place and found nothing set up yet.

We happen to see a contractor near by and we ask him if he was going to set up the place for wow. He told us he was going to do it over night, so we juz hung around the area. And there wasn't any other people we could we. So we sort of sat around and chatted while watching them set up the place.

It was almost close to midnight before 2 other people came, we basically introduce ourselves and chatted with one another. And more people came after midnight as well, so all in all there were the 10 of us. It was rather hard to sleep, so I ended up playing the tcg with another person. It was only close to dawn before I took a short nap. And we were soon joined by yun~

Next morning, I woke up feeling tired and thinking why am I here and not lying in my nice warm bed XD But at that time, they have already set-up the place so we went in to take a look. In the morning I was playing with Yun and Valer Super Mario vs on the GBA as we waited for the thing to start.

Around 8am, they move the queue into the building but still we had to wait till 1pm for the thing to start. We took turns going to buy something to eat since there was still hours before the event. When it was close to 1, many reporters came over to interview us and 1 guy from asia soft said that the 1st person in queue had to go up and recieve his copy of the game from the CEO of asiasoft @@ And all of them ask me to represent the 6 of us to go up on stage to collect it. In additonal I was also given a wow board game for being the 1st in queue XD There were a lot of photos taken and my smile was becoming harder and harder to maintain, not to mentioned that my eyes were starting to tear from all the flashes.

After I got the game from the CEO, I was brought to a new press area where there were swarms of reporters which had tonnes of question for me. All in my mind I was thinking, can this be done soon so I could join my friends again XD

By than all of has collected our game plus the lucky draw and bingo cards. So we went into one corner and filled in the lucky draw forms and prepare our bingo cards for the onyxia challenge.

During the onyxia challenge bingo game, I was no where near winning at all. However yun was very close on both attempts and she even won a wow tcg starter deck. Not too shabby, but I thought that the prizes could have been better XD

After the bingo game, we basically walk around the place looking at all the various events there were going on concurrently. Than Jesse, hairi and me went to spin the wheel of illdian and me and hairi won a post card each. But jesse won a wow figurine. T_T

Next up was the early bird lucky draw and guess what, Yun won a wow board game for herself too! Cant believe how lucky she was that day XD

It was close to 5 and we decided we had enough for the day and plus we were tired by camping overnight, so we decided to head home. It was quite a fun event thought it could be better improved upon and most importantly, it was a great bonding exprience between all of us. And I went home with my own copy of the burning crusade!

Furthur more, I was mentioned in 2 newspaper articles and I could be seen on the news that night. I must say that it was a rather interesting exprience for me.

Also bought a couple of wow stuff as well recently, such as the Onyxia raid deck and a couple of novels. Spent a lot of money on wow already, must learn to be more thrifty in future =P

Currently leveling my blood elf paladin on Kil'Jaeden and reading the day of the dragon warcraft novel during my free time. ^^

Sorry for the long long absence guys. Been really busy with a couple of things lately. Anyway just thought I shall update all the recent happenings in 1 post =P

First of all, I am posted back to Tuas Navel base as a technician and it sure is great to be back there and working with my friends once again. Some things have changed and I am still getting use to them. Plus the 9 weeks of BMT have made me forgotten some techinician stuff but I think I should be able to get the hang of it over some time.

One of the reason for my lack of updates is that I too busy with world of warcraft. Anyway, finally managed to get my hunter all the way to lvl 60 and now trying to gear her for burning crusade. If you do drop by Kil'Jaeden, pst Wilemina and maybe we could do some raids or something.

Also in this month attended 2 weddings. 1 by which is my cousin's one and its good to see my other cousins as well. Especially Jasmine whom I seem to get along better with compared with the rest of my cousins. Had lots of fun catching up with her and it was very enjoyable chatting with her once again ^^ Another wedding I attended was my Staff Sgt wedding. It was at carlton hotel and even though we set bukit batok at 7pm, we reach at 8.30pm since we got lost along the way there. Luckily even though we reach at that timing, there were still some people who have not arrived yet XD

Lastly, my car got into an accident while waiting to pick my friend up at chinese garden mrt station. I was parked at the side of the road with my hazard lights on when suddenly this pick up cut in from the lane beside me and knock into my front bumber. My heart literally dropped when I heard the sound of the impact. On closer examination there was 1 bad scatch and some paint marks on my car body. On top of that, there was also a slight dent. The driver of the pick up only compensated me with $100 and I must say that its very heart breaking for such incident to happen to your own car T_T I managed to get the pickup's paint off my car but still there is that 1 scatch and a dent. Hopefully I could avoid such accident in future since I really treasure my car a lot. *cries*
