Its been over a week since my last update. Wow! Cant believe that man, but I have been really busy with school juggling projects, assignments and not to mention finding time to spend with my lovely dear dear.

Anyway some updates for acadamic work, my midterm result is out for COM 101 and GEO 333 and I fare 76/100 and 45/100 respectively for them. The COMs results was unexpected because I was basically smoking throughout the exam, thanks god the essay helped me with a 19/20. And as for GEO 333, I kinda expected it since I have no idea how to go about studying for the exam. But I was comtemplating to resign from the subject and lose my school fees if I failed badly, but with just a botherline fail I think I shall try to strive on =X

But one thing that I am really proud of is that, I finally completed my COM 101 blog in time before the deadline. I feel that I put in quite a bit of effort for it and I hope the teacher could give me a good grade. Anyway comments are appreciated from anyone, doesn't matter if you take communication studies or not =P

And now for the meat of this entry, lets have a whirlwind history of what happened for the past week or so.
7th March, 2008

Went to Jurong West to have dinner with my family and dear dear came along as well. Had a delicious meal as usual with durians as desserts. But no durians for me, dislike the taste, just help dear dear to peel open the shell =P Anyway here is what we had for dinner!

Tofu

Chicken

Seasonal Veggie

Frog Legs

Cereal Prawn

13th March, 2008

Had school for only 1 and a half hours today and after our class, went to Nee Ann Poly alumni restauraunt for lunch. We choose that place because it is the only place that doesn't care about us playing poker cards so we could play our bridge in peace.

Had laksa for lunch, taste not bad but the prawn seems funny XD

Laksa! Yummy!

Than after lunch decided to play mahjong at Ben's house. Four of us include Ben Chen, Ben Chua, me and dear dear. Send both Bens over to his house first while I went to pick up dear dear. Ben's house is only like less than 1km from my dear dear place.

And I encoutered this stubborn bird which refused to move away from behind my car. And it even tried to bite me when I shooed it away =(

Looks like a stubborn old bird (but not idea how to tell age for birds XD)

See, it tried to bite me, lucky for fast reflexes *tsk tsk*

Anyway after playing mahjong for a few hours, me and dear dear lost a grand total of $15. Chua was lucky and self touch 2 times with max tiles. There adds up to winning $9.60 from the 3 of us per round. But at least he treated us to Macdonals nuggets. Looking forward to play more mahjong again =P

14th March, 2008

As usual, friday night dinner with my parents and of course my dear dear came along =) Had dinner at Cafe Cartel, had yummy seafood macoroni. But the more you eat, the less tasty it gets, I guess its cause of an overload of cheese XD But nonetheless, I still find it very nice!!

Seafood Marcoroni!

After dinner went to walk around Bukit Panjang Plaza. Than I saw this at the NTUC there and I simply must buy it!!!

Jellybeans!!!

I simply adore jellybeans! And when I saw that this actually has 30 flavours I was like wow!!!

A list of all the flavours!

TA-DA! My jellybeans! Muahahaha!

Actually some of the flavours do taste very nice, while other just taste plain weird. Reminds me of Bertie Botts every flavours beans from Harry Potter! LOL!!! Sure had fun eating them =P

18th March, 2008

Went to IMM and ate Pepper Lunch for Lunch. Frankly speaking, it was my 2nd time eating at pepper lunch and I always found the concept interesting of cooking yur own meat even after they have served it to you. I had steak while dear dear had chicken =P

Steak!

Teriyaki Chicken!!

Seriously, we been to IMM so many times that seriously there nothing much to walk around. We just go there because parking is free for the first three hours XD

20th March, 2008

Went to Nee Ann Poly Alumni again for lunch. This time I had soft shell butter crabs. And I must say that it is very delicious. Come as a bento meal for just $7.50, its a must try!!!

Soft Shell Butter Crabs! Must Try!!

And it rushing COM 101 Project for the weekend. Yay! =(

22nd March, 2008

Went to Lot 1 for dinner with dear dear and we had korean food at the food court. Been wanting to try this for quite some time but keep having second thoughts. Well this time decided to try it for once.

Kimchi Soup!! Wahaha!

Seriously taste not bad la. But I still prefer things which has more flavour in it like the Ban Mian or the Kway Chap there XD Well as for my dear she had her favourite Bibibap!

Bibibap!

And lastly for some misc stuff. You know those big sweet land things at the arcade. Me and dear dear went to play it the other day since we saw that there is just bars before it hit the jacpot so we thought there is a high chance. But who knows, the checker is rather faulty and unless some heavy sweets fall on it, it wont activate, and it doesn't help that most of the sweet is mentos. But finally after $25 dollars, we bag this lil cutie home. (We didn't want to give up halfway thus the amount of money spent =( )

Am I Cute? I cost $25!!! MEEEP!

And as for neopets, I managed to get myself a new trophy at the game The Castle of Eliv Trade. Took me around 2 hours to get it but I was afraid I would game over before I actually broke the high score. The game works like this, you have to solve analgrams of words for 10 points each. Each time you guess a word wrongly, you lost a life, lose all 3 lives and it is game over. As my score got higher and I was down to my last life, I was really nervous. Thankfully I managed a 2nd place trophy in the end =)

TA-DA Made it to the high score table for 2nd place trophy =)

And I also managed to aquire a few other trophies to add to my collection. Does my user lookup looks nice now? =P

Hard Earned Trophies!!

And than, there was a neopets plot going on about sloth invasion over neopia happening in the space station. After spending countless hours on it, I am glad that I qualify for a 2nd best rank trophy for the plot. Hated the decoding part of the plot the most where you have to decode messages made from 20 different modifiers and you had to arrange 3 of them in a order to decode the message. 20 messages and countless combinatons to try, took me many hours of my time. But my hard work is paid off for this plot. Resistance Commander! =)
